We are going to stop /bcmhsm for a maintenance at 10:00 on Thursday November 3rd. The /bcmhsm will not be available for few hours.

Update: 03.11 10:10 Filesystem is back online

We are going to change physical location of HSM server and HSM storage. Therefore downtime for /migrate and /bcmhsm will take place at Friday October 7th, from 12:00 till 14:00.

Update: The downtime have to be extended by half an hour.

The IT department of UIB will have planned network maintenance.
Therefore access to Hexagon and FImm login nodes can be limited on March 24th 21:00-23:00.

Due to backup server is going to have an urgent scheduled maintenance /migrate and /bcmhsm will be unavailable tomorrow Friday, January 14th from 9:00 to 16:00. The restore from backup functionality will not be available during this time slot aswell.

Hexagon will have a scheduled maintenance starting at Wednesday January 19th 09:00. Downtime will last for 2 days and we expect to have machine up at Thursday January 20th late evening.
This note will be updated when we have more information.

We will upgrade machine to the latest Cray software release, fix cabinet 3 issues and perform other hardware maintenance.

Note that a reservation is set in the queue system. Jobs must have a walltime set so that they may finish before the maintenance to be allowed to start.

Update: 20.01.2011 15:15 We finished maintenance. Machine is back online, almost in full configuration.

We will have scheduled maintenance for fimm cluster from 10:00 clock 4th of October Monday, until 18:00 clock 4th of October.
Entire cluster is reserved for the maintenance, jobs which is already running and will not be able to finish before that time will be killed , if your job is submitted after reservation is in place, then it will only run if it is able to be completed before the maintenance, otherwise it will be queued until the maintenance is over.

We will perform software and hardware update during the maintenance.we will keep you updated.

Update: New HW bug have been discovered, preliminary maintenance is moved to September 28th 12:00.

Update: Due to important security bug we have to do maintenance as soon as possible, Sept 17 10:30. Actual shutdown of machine was 11:00.

Update: 16:00 Maintenance have been performed. Machine is available for users.

There will be a maintenance stop to install new hardware in the tape-robot.
This will make /migrate, /bcmhsm and restore of backup files unavailable from Monday 26th 12:00 until around 15:00.

Update, 15:30: Restore and recall of files are now available again.

Fimm master node is going to be maintained on July, 2nd at 14:00 for 30 minutes.

During that time slot job submission system will be temporary suspended. It will be not possible for users to submit new jobs.

On Saturday, June 26th, login node on Fimm will have downtime approximately from 10:00 to 11:00.
Please logout before this time window.

Running jobs will not be affected.

Reason: GPFS version on fimm login node is going to be updated.
